In 2020, in Poland, we witnessed a sharp rise in the use of excessive force by the police against women and men marching in the streets, legally expressing their disagreement with the government’s policies. Non-violent protesters were tear-gassed, kettled, fined, and transported to remote police stations, where they were detained for extended periods.
This movie is my attempt to capture the state of that time and instances of police violence against peaceful protesters.
Additional materials were created during the protests.
