Who I Am
I am a director, cinematographer, photographer, and writer. I blend commercial techniques with a documentary style to tell each story in the best possible way — both narratively and visually. Over the years, I’ve mastered directing, camera work, editing, color grading, and production. I believe that working across different stages of a project allows me to fully understand it and bring my creative vision to life. My approach combines dirty realism with poetic documentary, striving to tell raw, visually expressive, and emotionally engaging stories. I focus on details, atmosphere, and the emotional depth of each scene to create immersive and compelling narratives.
I have worked with organizations such as IKEA, A24, Netflix, Canal+, Adidas, Visa, Porsche, The New York Times, Amnesty International, and ClientEarth while creating documentary forms in Poland, Iceland, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Senegal, Somalia, Iraq, Ukraine, and Tanzania, among other countries. In the latter, I spent the most time, which ultimately led me to write Don’t Hurt Him, a non-fiction book about the persecution of people with albinism in East Africa, nominated for multiple awards in both writing and photography. Currently, I’m engaged in several commercials and personal projects across Africa and Eurasia.

OFF THE REC ●
These days, I work primarily with the medium of film, but my journey as a storyteller began much earlier. For over a decade, I’ve created reports from around the world, photographed for the press, and hosted a podcast dedicated to documentary art. I also wrote a non-fiction book about the persecution of people with albinism in Tanzania.
